《跨越时代的思念》是《犬夜叉》中戈薇和犬夜叉的感情牵绊的专属，在不同的时空中彼此心灵相通似的，听到彼此的心跳，彼此的呼吸，甚至用心灵对话，以至于感触到对方。音乐响起的时刻，在刹那间，音乐就像流水般的穿进我的心，牵起了我的思念，思绪开始飘忽，慢慢地飘向了远方。丝丝的凄凉，点点的慰藉，就好像穿透了时空，思念的人已幻化在我眼前。<br><br>
《跨越时代的思念》总共有三个版本，钢琴版，交响乐版。这两个版本虽然都是一个谱子，但分别给了不同的感触。<br><br>
钢琴版的主旋律是由钢琴弹奏的，加以号，管弦的衬托，更加使得思念的主题显得清澈，同时加上低沉的大提琴，小提琴的附和，更添加了思念的缠绵氛围。<br><br>
《跨越时代的思念》无论是在钢琴版和交响乐版都是如此的扣人心弦。特有的日式古典韵味的抒情很动人。但欣赏这音乐是不应该脱离原作的，因为这首音乐在作品里和故事情节配合的是那么的完美。这首曲子或委婉含蓄，或悲凉凄美，或感人肺腑，抒尽了对思念的种种感悟，原来是思念是如此的强烈，如此的柔美，甚至是可以穿越时空的。<br><br>
